Go Cubs! One of his best memories was watching the Cubs win the world series with his dad in 2016.Ĭhris was so full of life, stories and laughs. Chris loved all sports, always cheering for the San Diego Chargers and the Chicago Cubs. He loved it so much, he did a jeopardy show in his history class.
One of the proudest moments in his life was when he ran the Boston Marathon in 1997.Ĭhris collected baseball cards, was a master Lego builder, and loved listening to Marvin Gay. Being a runner himself for many years, Chris was passionate about it, and was so proud when former students said he was the reason they loved running. He also coached volleyball and cross country. Chris made kids want to learn about history. He made a great impact on many students during these years of teaching. He taught History at Tecumseh High School, and was great at it. He went onto get his Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Southern Indiana. One of his proudest was Fiddler on the Roof. In high school he was a tenor in choir and played many leads in musicals. He was born on April 24th, 1970.Ĭhris graduated from Princeton Community High School, Class of 1988. She handled registration at the Lake Hopatcong Open Water Swim Festivals, a charity for local animal rescue. She loved collecting Erte prints, attending theater productions at Princeton, working at the Princeton Renaissance Festivals and June Fetes. She switched jobs and began to work at Paradigm Technologies for her BFF Bridgette Hobart, who was like another sister.
Eventually her job took her to New Jersey.
When her division was sold to North American Phillips, she transferred to that company. Karla’s first job was with Westinghouse in Pittsburgh where she was an auditor. She graduated from Valley High School in 1974 and Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 1978. She was born in New Kensington to Raymond J. Derbaum, 65, of New Jersey, formerly of New Kensington, went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 7, 2022.
